Our Story
Loan Mitigation Advocates was born when life presented one of the company’s co-founders with a seemingly insurmountable hurdle. Faced with an adjusting and rising mortgage payment, a loss of equity in his house from the current market conditions and a job industry where his income was diminishing, Greg Jewell began to realize his impending, grim reality. A reality that, unfortunately, many people are encountering today – the potential of losing their home.
Letting his home go to foreclosure and uprooting his family was a frightening possibility for Greg. He searched for a solution that would allow him to remain in the home for which he had worked so hard. He started speaking with the lenders tied to his home. Unfortunately, he encountered roadblock after roadblock due to a lack of knowledge of the process, time, connections within the lending industry, and understanding of the options available.
Greg faced a long and complex road, but scaled it over time due to his steadfast perseverance and continuous dedication. Finally able to mitigate his own loan, he and his family preserved their home ownership and were able to remain in their family home.
After his success, Greg realized he could help others in the same predicament with his honed skills and lending contacts. Our co-founder reached out to one of his colleagues, Adam Golden, with whom he worked closely in the real estate industry. Greg knew that with their combined passion to help people and meshed skill sets, the two founders would have a perfect combination to establish an effective loan mitigation company. One that could truly help preserve home ownership for the many Americans facing the same hurdles. Now, homeowners have been able to stay in their homes due to Loan Mitigation Advocates’ efforts and care.
Adam Golden and Greg Jewell have a strong desire to help their clients and are ready and willing to assist the unfortunately large number of homeowners encountering similar circumstances. This initial frustrating and scary experience, and the lessons and understanding gained from overcoming it, are what led to the establishment of Loan Mitigation Advocates.
